The Stanley Brothers - Old Country Church

(Gusto GT-0084) 1981

This is a 10 track budget gospel collection from Gusto, which re-releases 10 of the 12 tracks from the Old Time Camp Meeting LP, albeit in a different playing order. The two tracks which are omitted are Somebody Touched Me and I'm Dying A Sinner's Death.

The cover photo is also that from Old Time Camp Meeting, except it has been reversed so Ralph is on the right hand side and Carter on the left.

The album was reissued on CD (Hollywood HCD-127) 1992.

Nowadays probably the best way to get all the King / Starday material, is on the two 4xCD set's The Early Starday/King Years, 1958-1961 and The King Years, 1961-1965.
