The Stanley Brothers - The Stanley Brothers and The Clinch Mountain Boys Vol. 2

(King EP-440) c1959

EP Front Sleeve
Rear Cover Side One Side Two

This 7" EP was the second of three releases, each of which consisted of four tracks from the Stanley's King debut LP, The Stanley Brothers And The Clinch Mountain Boys (aka King 615).

The EP comes housed in a card cover, with B&W print on front and rear. The colour front picture is printed on a separate piece of paper and stuck over the top.

Some copies of these EP's are likely to have also been issued in generic 'King' bags...

All four tracks can now be found on The Early Starday/King Years, 1958-1961 4xCD box set.

For a detailed breakdown and background to the Stanley's sessions, check Gary B. Reid's The Music Of The Stanley Brothers book, pages 91-93 and 139.
