The Stanley Brothers - Sweetest Love

(Country Stars CTS-55525) 2006

This is a UK compilation whih was almost definitely issued to take advantage of the 50 year expiration of recording copyright here in the UK.^[1]

Most of the material featured is from the Stanley's Mercury period, with two tracks from the Columbia era. Given that there are two cheap anthologies of the Stanley's recordings for these labels (The Complete Mercury Recordings and The Complete Columbia Stanley Brothers), this CD is pretty much redundant.
