This is a Gospel compilation with 13 tracks from Ralph's early '70s Rebel period.
The CD is housed in a 3-fold digipak with liner notes by Joe Wilson, and full track breakdown/credits. It was issued by Cracker Barrel as part of their 'Heritage Music Collection' in conjunction with the National Council for the Traditional Arts.
The National Council for Traditional Arts (NCTA) had given Ralph an National Heritage Fellowship award in 1984, after being nominated by Joe Wilson who was then director of the NCTA. Joe also contributed a chapter to John Wright's 'Traveling The High Way Home' book on Ralph.
The album was only available from the Cracker Barrel stores, and was part of the 'Heritage Music Collection' designed to showcase America's "great patchwork quilt of sound".
